International Dual Career Network (IDCN) is co-hosting an Event in Los Angeles, hosted by Jet propulsion Laboratory on June 5. The FACC Los Angeles is member of the IDCN network.

Cross Cultural Behavior

The world is a diverse mix of cultures – the set of norms and behaviors that shape how we interact and engage with each other. As we transition from on place to another we bring with us and learn about cultural norms. For those who seek to establish a career in a new place assessing cultural norms and determining culture compatibility through the interview process is critical. This sessions seeks to help all understand cultural framework and how companies and candidates create opportunities to learn about each other.

What is the IDCN?

The International Dual Career Network aim to bring together the spouses of relocated employees of multi-national and local organizations in Los Angeles to provide a mutually beneficial job-search and recruiting platform and provides company members with a pool of talents.

IDCN was initially launched by Nestle in Lake Geneva and soon attracted major corporation around the world. The LA Chapter includes major businesses and academic leaders, among them Ernst & Young, JPL, Cal Tech University, and the FACC LA.
