The Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by Franck Gehry, is the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center. It’s not only an architectural master piece, it’s also a palace of musical art in the contemporary society.

Located in Downtown Los Angeles, the Walt Disney Concert Hall is the home of the Philharmonic orchestra.

The music center will celebrate Paris with the upcoming Festival named the City of LightThe reputation of the French capital as the City of Light is accredited to its position as the intellectual center during the Age of Enlightenment (Le siècle des Lumières), a philosophical movement of the 18th century initiated by the French thinkers: Diderot, Voltaire, Montesquieu and Rousseau.

Moreover, this name for Paris was spread by its European neighbors because in 1830 the street light network was very efficient compared to other cities and by night the French capital sparkled brilliantly.

French music is so universally appealing because its aesthetic consistently values color, lightness and transparency.

Esa-Pekka Salonen, the Finnish orchestral conductor and composer will offer concerts of the French classical music composer, Debussy, on Friday 19th and Sunday 21st of February 2016.

Esa-Pekka Salonen’s natural tendencies make him an ideal interpreter of this music. His festival will feature Ravel’s delicate and enchanting Mother Goose – to be enhanced with a newly created multi-disciplinary installation – and Debussy’s influential opera Pelléas et Mélisande, for which Salonen has received ecstatic reviews. Chamber music, Symphonies for Youth and a Green Umbrella concert round out this special event.

The Festival will start on Saturday 23rd of January 2016 and end on Tuesday 23rd of February 2016 with a concert done by the French Chamber of Music.
