The International Dual Career Network event, organized in partnership with Nestlé, Ernst & Young and The California Institute of Technology (Caltech), took place yesterday at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel.
From the feedback of our guests, the two conferences were very instrumental for job seekers and recruiters. Romain Lefranc detailed his personal and professional experience and how he successfully integrated into the US market as a foreigner. He currently holds the position of Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors, a middle market investment bank that works with a wide range of businesses in all industries.
Our guests also had the opportunity to benefit from a special workshop held by an experienced international business consultant, Francis Cholle, founder of The Human Company, and best-selling author of the Intuitive Compass (New York Times best-seller). He helps companies and individuals to reinvent their businesses in ways that conventional strategic management cannot. Among his clients, we can name major, mid-size and emerging companies, including global powerhouses across a wide variety of industries such as beauty (L’Oréal), luxury, pharmaceutical, communication, media and information technology.
The workshop was followed by a networking session. Our guests were able to interact with our speakers as well as a number of recruiters.

The International Dual Career Network aims to bring together the spouses of relocated employees of multi-national and local organizations in Los Angeles to provide a mutually beneficial job-search and recruiting platform and provides company members with a pool of talents. IDCN was initially launched by Nestle in Lake Geneva and soon attracted major corporation around the world. The LA Chapter includes major businesses and academic leaders, among them Ernst & Young, JP, Cal Tech University, and the FACC LA.
